Dwayne Johnson Continues To Show Off His Impressive BLACK ADAM Bod
Dwayne Johnson has shared yet another photo from the set of DC’s Black Adam as he’s still in the middle of those reshoots. The guy just loves showing off his insanely impressive physique and teasing the film. It’s incredible to see what that man has done with his body, the discipline to pull that off and continue to do what he does as a business man and actor amazes me.
The photo came along with the following note:
Intense week of shooting BLACK ADAM⚡️
We are redefining the superhero paradigm.
The antihero.
The people no longer need a hero.
They need a protector.
Rage against the dying of the light.
The hierarchy in the DC Universe will change.
Johnson previously talked about how he’s been preparing to play Black Adam his entire life, saying, "I started training for Black Adam when I came out of the womb. I believe I was born to play this character. But in all honesty, this project has been with me for 10 ten years now. The process began when we started to stand the material up and really developed it into what it is present day. Once the start date was agreed on by our Seven Bucks production company, the rest of my team, Warner Bros. Studio, and DC Comics, I started to build an exhaustive training program with my coach Dave Rienzi. I wanted to come into this in the best shape of my career."
Black Adam also stars Aldis Hodge (Underground, The Invisible Man), who plays Hawkman in the film; Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I Love Before, Charlie's Angels) as Atom Smasher; Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets, Euphoria) as Cyclone; and Pierce Brosnan (GoldenEye, Mamma Mia!) as Doctor Fate, as well as Sarah Shahi (Person of Interest, The L Word), Marwan Kenzari (The Old Guard, Aladdin), and Uli Latukefu (Young Rock), who have been cast in unspecified roles.
Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise) is directing Black Adam, from the most recent script, written by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. Adam Sztykiel wrote the previous draft.
Black Adam is set to hit theaters on October 21st, 2022.
