Dwayne Johnson Has a Cameo in Ryan Reynolds' FREE GUY That You May Not Have Noticed

I had no idea that Dwayne Johnson made a cameo appearance in Ryan Reynolds’ video game action-comedy Free Guy until it was pointed out to me after it was released on Disney+.

Free Guy was a great film filled with all kinds of fun Easter eggs, but I didn’t even notice one of the biggest ones even though it was front and center.

During one of the many stick-up scenes in the movie showing the daily life of Guy (Reynolds), a big and burly bank robber strolls into the bank to rob the place. This is the moment that Guy goes off script and fights back. The bank robber beats the hell out of Guy and says to him: "I’m the robber, you’re the guy who lays down and takes it." Guy ends up accidentally killing the bank robber and nabs his glasses.

Yep, that guy was played by Dwayne Johnson. Maybe you noticed it the first time around. I don’t know, I didn’t, and maybe some of you did realize it either. So, I thought I’d point it out to you.

Johnson’s Appearance is pretty cool as Ryan Reynolds previously made a surprise cameo appearance in Johnson’s Hobbs & Shaw. They also starred together in Netflix’s Red Notice action movie.

John Krasinski also has a cameo in the movie as the 'Silhouetted Gamer' during one montage sequence. Then there’s Tina Fey, who plays a gamer’s off-screen mom in another scene.
