Dwayne Johnson is Looking To Include Other FAST AND FURIOUS Cast Members in His Shaw and Hobbs Spinoff Spinoff
As we've seen over the past few days not everything in the Fast and Furious family has been peaches and cream. Not every cast member is thrilled with the upcoming F&F spin-off focusing on Dwayne Johnson's Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw. But now there seems to be some good news for those family members who don't have an issue with the franchise expanding. Johnson says there may be a place for them in the spin-off. Johnson took to Instagram today to promote the spin-off and comment on how he hopes that it will create greater opportunities for his fellow Fast & Furious cast-mates.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for this franchise that I’ve enjoyed droppin’ blood and sweat in over the years and my vision is to create greater opportunities for not only my fellow FF cast mates, but for other amazing actors as well who want to be a part of something new and cool.I want to use my spinoff platform to create new characters that fans will ultimately love to have fun with in multiple chapters and platforms. Film, TV, Digital, Virtual Reality etc.. the more opportunities we can create the better for the fans.

Which F&F cast members would you like to see join them in this spinoff? I think it's obvious that Diesel is out (unless its a minor cameo), but all the other players could easily play a role. The ninth installment of the FAST & FURIOUS franchise was slated for a 2019 release, before being pushed back to April 10, 2020, seemingly to make room for the spin-off.
The upcoming FAST & FURIOUS spin-off is set for a July 26, 2019 release.
