Dwayne Johnson Responds Amusingly To His Wax Statue in France That Changed His Skin Color

The Grévin Museum in France recently unveiled a wax figure of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and it was met with a lot of criticism because, well… they made Johnson white! Johnson has since responded to this with a video of comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr. roasting the statue.

Jefferson said the museum made Johnson look like a “pebble,” David Beckham, and a member of the UK royal family. He also joked, “Is this how y’all felt when you lost the Little Mermaid?”

Johnson also commented saying: “I’m going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at ‘updating’ my wax figure here with some important details and improvements- starting with my skin color. And next time I’m in Paris, I’ll stop in and have a drink with myself.”

Grévin Museum also responded saying: “Dwayne Johnson is right and we noticed it and will obviously remedy it as quickly as possible and send him new photos once completed. We are waiting for him when he will come to Paris and the Grevin Wax Museum to celebrate that with a cup of champagne.”
