Dwayne Johnson Reteaming With JUMANJI Director Jake Kasdan on Amazon Holiday Movie

Dwayne Johnson is reteaming with his Jumanji franchise director Jake Kasdan for a new Amazon holiday movie, previously titled Red One. Johnson is producing from his Seven Bucks Productions. The studio is developing the feature off an original story by Hiram Garcia, President of Production at Seven Bucks Productions. Kasdan will also produce the movie on behalf of his production company, The Detective Agency.

The movie is described as “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe within the holiday genre.” The pic aims to shoot in 2022 with a 2023 holiday release. Hopefully we will get more info on the story soon, but I am looking forward to another fun holiday film.
