Dwayne Johnson Reveals He is Finally Done with Disney's JUNGLE CRUISE with a New Photo

Disney continues to make films about the attractions at Disneyland even though no one asks for them. Yes, the first Pirates of the Caribbean was good, but it was only downhill from there. Well, the latest endeavor is Jungle Cruise starring Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson and thanks to Instagram, we know that Johnson is officially done with his work on the film.

In the post, Johnson also reveals a little bit about his character and Blunt’s. He calls Blunt a female Indiana Jones and his own skipper character sounds like a greedy drunk.

The film is set in the early 20th century and takes place in the Amazon jungle. Johnson is playing a boat captain in the story "who takes his sister (Blunt) and her brother (Whitehall) on a mission to find a tree believed to possess healing powers. Wild animals and a competing German expedition figure into the proceedings." Giamatti is said to be taking on the role of a crusty harbormaster.

Jungle Cruise also stars Paul GiamattiJesse PlemonsEdgar Ramirez, and Jack Whitehall.

Jungle Cruise is set to release July 24, 2020. Are you excited for Jungle Cruise?
