Actor Dylan McDermott (The Practice, American Horror Story, Hollywood) has joined the cast of the latest Law & Order series coming to NBC, Law & Order: Organized Crime. The series is set to star Christopher Meloni, from Law & Order: SVU, and will feature McDermott as well as SVU star Mariska Hargitay.

In the new series, which takes place in New York City, “Meloni is reprising his role as Elliot Stabler, who returns to the NYPD to battle organized crime after a devastating personal loss. Stabler will aim to rebuild his life as part of a new elite task force that is taking apart the city’s most powerful criminal syndicates one by one.”

There is no news yet as to who McDermott will play, but he is a solid actor that I’m sure will do great in this dramatic series. Are you looking forward to a new Law & Order? The series is set to air on NBC later this year.
