Early Batman and Flash Concept Art Surfaces For George Miller's JUSTICE LEAGUE MORTAL
George Miller’s Justice League Mortal is one of those films that I wish would have been made. I would have loved to see how it would have turned out!
We’ve got some new concept art for the film that has surfaced and it shows us early concept art of Armie Hammer’s Batman and Adam Brody ‘s Flash. It gives us more of an idea of what they were thinking in terms of character design. When previously talking about the Batsuit, Hammer revealed:
“Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, they built a whole functioning suit that had hydraulics and worked and had microphones all through the suit so I could hear everything happening around m. 100 percent function because we had $300 million to do it, kinda like the budget we had on the movie"
He also talked about a fight between Superman and Wonder Woman in the film that would have been brutal:
"Superman and Wonder Woman have or had the most brutal fight with each other that you have ever seen. And I mean it would be like when two superheroes actually fight. Like, They destroy multiple cities like by accident 'cause they're just like, they don't even see anything else other than like trying to destroy the other person in front of them and it was incredible. At one point they destroy an aircraft carrier by accident and then also the death count was going to be extremely high."
That would have been a sight to see. The movie would have also starred Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Adam Brody as Flash, Common as Green Lantern, Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Martian Manhunter, Jay Baruchel as Maxwell Lord, and Teresa Palmer as Talia al Ghul.
Just in case you're curious about this film and the story it would have told, you can read a breakdown of the script here, or watch a live-read of it here.
