Edgar Wright is Included on a Short List of Directors To Replace Danny Boyle on BOND 25

After Danny Boyle exited Bond 25 over creative differences, producers of the film are on the hunt for a director to replace him. Thanks to Deadline, we have a list of four names that they are currently looking at hiring. The report says that if they manage to find a director in the next 60 days, the studio may still be able to release the film on the original release date of November 8th, 2019.

The short-list of directors that producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson are reportedly looking at include Edgar Wright (Baby Driver), Jean-Marc Vallee (Dallas Buyers Club), David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water), and Yann Demange ('71).

The report says that Wright is a "real possibility" and that he would love to do James Bond if given the opportunity! While all of these directors are talented, Wright is definitely my favorite choice. I actually like the thought of him directing a James Bond film more than Danny Boyle! I'd love to see what Wright's vision of a Bond film would be!

The final decision on the director rests with the producers and there's no word in this report on if they will proceed with the script that was written by John Hodge. A previous report says that they could start from scratch after a new director jumps on board.

While just have to wait and see how this plays out. In the meantime, who would you like to see direct the film from this list?
