Edward Norton Plays a Detective with Tourette's Syndrome in First Trailer for MOTHERLESS BROOKLYN
Edward Norton stars in and directs an upcoming 1950s crime thriller thriller called Motherless Brooklyn and it sure looks like a great movie! In the film, Norton plays a detective with Tourette's Syndrome who is trying to solve a murder. This looks like a perfect film project and role for Norton, I love the character that he plays in it. He adds a fun and unique flavor to the story.
The movie is an adaption of Jonathan Lethem's novel, and this is the synopsis:
Set against the backdrop of 1950s New York, Motherless Brooklyn follows Lionel Essrog (Norton), a lonely private detective afflicted with Tourette's Syndrome, as he ventures to solve his friend's (Willis) murder. Armed only with a few small clues and the powerful engine of his obsessive mind, Lionel unravels closely-guarded secrets that hold the fate of the whole city in the balance.
Norton also surrounded himself with an impressive ensemble cast that includes Bruce Willis, Michael Kenneth Williams, Leslie Mann, Willem Dafoe, Ethan Suplee, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alec Baldwin, Bobby Cannavale, Fisher Stevens, Dallas Roberts, Cherry Jones, and Josh Pais.
Motherless Brooklyn will be released on November 1st and I’m looking forward to watching it! Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!
