Eerie Trailer for the Gothic Horror Film MOTHER SUPERIOR
I’ve got a creepy trailer here for you to watch for a new gothic horror movie titled Mother Superior. The film is described as a “gothic fairy tale,” and it seems to have the same vibes as films such as Suspiria and The Witch.
The film is set in 1975, Rosenkreuz Manor, and the story follows “a young nurse (Isabella Händler) and her eccentric patient are bound together by a shared longing: the old lady's memory contains the secret to Sigrun's past; the young woman's life force holds the key to the future for the Baroness.”
The nurse is in search of identity and over the course of the story, eh gets entangled in the occult cabal of her patient, the Baroness Heidenreich who resides with her devoted groundskeeper, Otto... their dark secrets will soon be revealed.
I really dig the atmospheric vibe of the movie! It has a very chilling tone, and it’s the kind of movie that I think I’d enjoy.
Mother Superior is written and directed by Marie Alice Wolfszahn. It already opened in Austria in June and will be release in the US this fall.
