Vertigo Releasing has released a trailer for its upcoming psychological horror thriller titled Nocebo. This movie looks like it tells a dark, creepy, and unsettling story, and it has a great cast that is led by Eva Green and Mark Strong.

The story follows a talented fashion designer (Green) who is suffering from “a mysterious illness that puzzles her doctors and frustrates her husband (Strong). Help surprisingly arrives in the form of a Diana, a Filipino carer (Chai Fonacier) who uses traditional folk healing to reveal a horrifying truth.”

What’s the horrifying truth!? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but this certainly looks like a well made film that tell and intense story that might be worth watching if you’re enjoy horror film.

The film was directed Lorcan Finnegan (Without Name and Vivarium), and it also stars Billie Gadsdon, Cathy Belton, and Chai Fonacier.

RLJE Films and Shudder will release the film in select US theaters on November 4th, 2022, then on VOD / Digital starting November 22nd.
