ELDEN RING Gets Free PvP DLC to Prove Who Is the Best in the Lands Between
I am writing this the night before the Game Awards and don’t know if it will go out before. I imagine that if this goes out after the event, then Elden Ring has walked away as Game of the Year and probably a couple of other awards. It’s a very popular and beloved game. While it wasn’t for me, I respect anyone that’s willing to put time into playing it and getting good at it.
Bandai Namco announced the day before the event that Elden Ring has received a free content update with PvP Colosseums. Now, you can head over to Limgrave, Caelid, and Leyndell to face off against other players in various game modes and prove you’re the best in the Lands Between. In addition, there are five new hairstyles for you to enjoy. Which PvP Colosseum will you be playing the most?
The Limgrave Colosseum features two modes: United Combat and Combat Ordeal.
In United Combat, combatants will be divided into two teams to fight in timed battles with the ability to respawn. Each death and respawn grants points to the adversaries, offering victory to the team with the higher score.
In Combat Ordeal, it’s every Tarnished for themselves. Combatants in this mode can also respawn until the timer hits zero, and the one with the most points will prevail as victor.
The Royal Colosseum, located in Leyndell, features Duel Mode. Two Tarnished face off in a duel to the death, and without the ability to respawn.
The Caelid Colosseum features all aforementioned modes with the addition of being able to summon Spirit Ashes to fight by players’ sides.
You can play Elden Ring now on PC, PS4/5, and Xbox (affiliate link) consoles.
