Eli Roth Casts Addison Rae as The Star of His New Horror Film THANKSGIVING
Eli Roth is casting up his upcoming horror film Thanksgiving and he recently cast Addison Rae (He’s All That) in the lead role. Patrick Dempsey has also been confirmed to join the cast.
The movie is based on the trailer that is part of the 2007 Grindhouse double feature that Roth made with Quentin Tarantino. This is sure to be a crazy gory film about a slasher who “makes his own carving board out of the inhabitants of a Massachusetts town that makes a big annual fuss over the annual turkey day.”
Most of the ensemble cast will be made up of a bunch of rising stars. According to Deadline, “Roth wanted a face front and center and thought Dempsey would be perfect given its not the typical role you usually see the former Greys Anatomy star in.”
Spyglass Media is producing the movie, and Roth will be directing from a script written by Jeff Rendel. Roth will shoot the film in March.
