Eli Roth’s ICE CREAM MAN Serves Up Chills in First Look at His “Most Terrifying and Insane” Film Yet

Eli Roth is bringing nightmares to summer vacation with his upcoming horror film Ice Cream Man, which he’s calling his “most terrifying and insane film to date.”

The first look at the movie has just dropped, and along with it comes a cast lineup and some chilling new details that promise a full-on scream-fest.

The film stars Ari Millen (Orphan Black) as the twisted titular character, joined by Benjamin Byron Davis (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Karen Cliche (Thanksgiving), Dylan Hawco (Heartland), Sarah Abbott (Black Mirror, The Body), Shiloh O’Reilly (Thanksgiving), Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer (The Handmaid’s Tale), and Charlie Storey (Thanksgiving).

Rounding out the cast is Roth himself, who steps in front of the camera once again following his recent return to horror with Thanksgiving.

Adding even more flavor to this deadly sundae, Snoop Dogg is contributing music to the film. Roth is also collaborating with the rapper on another upcoming horror project titled Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!, so this duo is clearly having fun stirring up some genre chaos.

“I couldn’t be more excited about the incredible cast we’ve assembled for Ice Cream Man,” said Roth. “It’s surreal to see the idea I’ve had for over twenty years come to life — and with this insanely talented cast, we get to deliver a film to horror fans that’s as terrifying as I’ve always imagined.”

Ice Cream Man takes place in what looks like an idyllic summer town, but things quickly spiral into madness when a friendly neighborhood ice cream man begins serving treats with horrifying consequences.

The film wrapped principal photography in September and is set to hit theaters in 2026.

Rounding out the production team is Emmy-winning composer Brandon Roberts, who will deliver the haunting score, and special effects masters Steve Newburn (Thanksgiving) and Oscar winner Adrien Morot (The Whale, Thanksgiving), handling the gruesome prosthetic work that’s sure to make audiences squirm.

With Ice Cream Man, Roth looks ready to scoop up a new kind of terror one dripping with blood, gore, and summer dread.
