Elijah Wood Discovers His Dad Has a Crazy Dark Past in First Trailer For COME TO DADDY
Elijah Wood has a new film coming out titled Come To Daddy, a horror-comedy about a man who meets his estranged father for the first time. What he thinks might be a pleasant experience descends into a dark, bloody, and sinister journey as he discovers his dad has a messed up past.
The story follows Norval Greenwood (Wood), “a privileged man-child who arrives at the beautiful and remote coastal cabin of his estranged father. He quickly discovers that not only is dad a jerk, but he also has a shady past that is rushing to catch up with both of them. Now, hundreds of miles from his cushy comfort zone, Norval must battle with demons, both real and perceived, in order to reconnect with a father he barely knows.”
The film was directed by Ant Timpson and it looks like he’s made an interesting and wild edge-of-your-seat thriller. I definitely want to see the film. The movie also stars Stephen McHattie, Martin Donovan, Michael Smiley, Madeleine Sami, and Simon Chin.
Come to Daddy arrives in select theaters nationwide, VOD, and Digital on February 7, 2020.
