Elisabeth Moss Set To Star in an Oz-Set Thriller Titled RUN RABBIT RUN
Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Invisible Man) is taking on the lead role in an upcoming Oz-set thriller titled Run Rabbit Run. The project will reunite her with The Handmaid’s Tale director Daina Reid, and the project is set up at XYZ Films.
The film is described as a modern-day ghost story that will follow a character named Sarah, “a fertility doctor, with a firm understanding of the cycle of life. When she is forced to make sense of the increasingly strange behavior of her young daughter Mia, she must challenge her own beliefs and confront a ghost from her past.”
It’ll be interesting to see how this exactly ties in with Oz, but I imagine that her daughter Mia is being affected by something attached to Oz and her mother Sarah has a history with it, which she will have to confront.
The script for the film comes from novelist Hannah Kent and it’s based on an original idea developed with Carver Films, with Anna McLeish and Sarah Shaw of Carver Films.
Moss will next appear in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch and Taika Waititi’s Next Goal Wins.
