Elisabeth Moss Stars in Trailer for FX/Hulu Spy Thriller Series THE VEIL
FX on Hulu has released a new trailer for their upcoming spy thriller series, The Veil, starring two-time Emmy-winning actress Elisabeth Moss, best known for her roles in The Handmaid’s Tale, Girl, Interrupted, and The Invisible Man. She is joined in the cast by Yumna Marwan, Dali Benssalah, Haluk Bilginer, and Josh Charles. The series is created and written by Steven Knight (Spencer, Peaky Blinders, See, All the Light We Cannot See), with episodes directed by Damon Thomas and Daina Reid.
The synopsis reads:
“FX’s The Veil is an international spy thriller that explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, the other a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost. In the shadows, mission controllers at the CIA and French DGSE must put their differences aside and work together to avert potential disaster.”
This looks like a great new series for Moss to transition into as she wraps up her sixth and final season playing June Osborne in The Handmaid’s Tale. Check out the trailer below, and watch The Veil when it premieres on FX and Hulu on April 30th.
