Elisabeth Shue Joins Julie Delpy's Dramedy Series ON THE VERGE at Netflix

Elisabeth Shue (The Karate Kid, Adventures In Babysitting, The Boys) has teamed up with Julie Delpy in the upcoming Netflix series One the Verge. Shue and Delpy will both star and co-executive produce the 12-episode first season. The series written by Delpy and Alexia Landeau for the streamer, and Deadline provides this synopsis:

On The Verge is a show about four female friends in their late forties — two of them played by Delpy and Shue — who chose to use midlife not as a time of mourning their youth, but as an opportunity for personal reinvention, with the hope of finally living lives that embody their beliefs and values.

This sounds like an interesting series with a positive message. Shue just completed the first season of The Boys, and can be seen next in the WWII drama, Greyhound, with Tom Hanks.
