Elizabeth Hurley Joins Season 2 of THE BURBS at Peacock as a Series Regular

Elizabeth Hurley (Austin Powers, The Royals) has signed on to join the second season of Peacock’s comedy series The Burbs as a new regular cast member. She will play Beverly Fisher, the mother of Jack Whitehall’s Rob Fisher.

Season 1 of the mystery comedy, inspired by the 1989 horror-comedy film of the same name and set in present-day suburbia, follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home.

Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.

In addition to Whitehall, the returning series-regular cast also includes Keke Palmer, Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch and Kapil Talwalkar.

Details regarding the Season 2 storyline are still under wraps. Stay tuned for updates.
