Elle Fanning Stars in Teaser Trailer for Apple TV+ Limited Series MARGO'S GOT MONEY TROUBLES
Apple TV+ has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming limited series adaptation of Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
The dramedy is based on the novel of the same name by Rufi Thorpe, about a young woman who is forced to reckon with the financial burden after an unplanned pregnancy — the result of an affair with her creative writing professor.
The series stars Elle Fanning as Margo, a community college dropout and aspiring writer, who must come up with creative ways to pay the bills, so she posts alien-themed fetish content on OnlyFans and watches the tips roll in.
The series, premiering on April 15, also stars Michelle Pfeiffer as Margo’s ex-Hooters waitress mom and Nick Offerman as her ex-pro wrestler dad. Nicole Kidman and Thaddea Graham also star, and Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington round out the cast.
The show was adapted by David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Big Little Lies) and directed by Dearbhla Walsh, Kate Herron and Alice Seabright.
