Elon Musk Slams THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER - "Tolkien Is Turning in His Grave"
It seems Elon Musk’s longtime rivalry with Amazon founder and executive chairman Jeff Bezos is preventing him from enjoying The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power series. He recently took to Twitter to slam the series like a lot of trolls have been doing. He just jumped on the bandwagon of hate.
Musk wrote: “Tolkien is turning in his grave” and added, “Almost every male character so far is a coward, a jerk or both. Only Galadriel is brave, smart and nice.”
Musk isn’t alone in his hate for the series as he’s joined by an army of trolls that are constantly bashing the series. It’s so interesting because it’s like we’ve watched two completely different versions of the show. I loved the first two episodes and think that it’s one of the best and most beautifully made fantasy projects made in years.
Then there are those that just see ugliness in it, which is so weird to me. It’s a shame that some people can’t see the greatness of this epic show. Oh, well. The fact of the matter is, I’m not going to be able to convince the haters that the show is amazing, and they aren’t going to convince me that the show is shit. So, to each their own.
As for Musk’s thoughts, it’s not that surprising that he would be so critical of The Rings of Power given his rivalry with Bezos.
