Elvira is Giving Some "Serious Thought" To Making a MISTRESS OF THE DARK Sequel

I’ve got some good news for all of you Elvira fans! Earlier this year during October’s Salem Horror Fest, Cassandra Peterson a.k.a. Elvira revealed that she had written a treatment for a new Elvira film.

We haven’t heard much since, but during a recent Q&A on Instagram over the weekend, she expressed her interest in making a sequel to the 1988 film Elvira: Mistress of the Dark. When she was asked about the possibility of making the film, she said:

“I’m giving this some serious thought. A LOT of people ask this question, so I’m thinking one more… we’ll see!“

Hell, why not make one more! Her fans would love it! I remember watching Elvira when I was growing up. I enjoyed those horror movies that she hosted! In recent years I’ve attended some of the live shows that she did during Halloween that were always entertaining.

It’d be fun to see her make a Mistress of the Dark sequel and it will be interesting to see if anything comes from this talk. Would you like to see a new Elvira movie?
