ELVISH ARCHETYPES Offers Some Cool Unofficial DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Subclasses

If you want a new and exciting class for a Dungeons & Dragons character, I have some new unofficial options for you to check out. Christian Eichhorn and Christopher Walz have teamed up to create Elvish Archetypes: 12 Subclasses from the Fine Folk.

This supplement provides a new subclass for every official class except the Artificer based on elven culture in the Forgotten Realms. Don’t worry though, your character does not have to be an elf, nor does your campaign have to be set in the Forgotten Realms to use these.

That was merely the inspiration. One of the subclasses is the Path of the Wildrunner Barbarian, who at level 3 gets advantage on Perception checks and is able to make a bit attack as an extra attack!

This collection includes 12 new subclasses inspired by elvish culture, one for each class in the Player’s Handbook. Aside from being used by players, these subclasses may serve as a basis for villains or NPCs for your home game. While the history and lore around these archetypes are steeped in elven culture from the Forgotten Realms, the game mechanics do not require your characters to be from the Forgotten Realms, or even an elf! Each subclass has been designed to be fully playable as any race from any typical Dungeons & Dragons setting.

You can check out Elvish Archetypes from DMs Guild for $4.99.
