Emma Stone and Ralph Fiennes Join Alexander Payne's Dark Satirical Comedy THE MENU

Emma Stone (Maniac, The Favourite) and Ralph Fiennes (Schindler’s List, the Harry Potter movies) have signed on to star in the Alexander Payne (The Descendants, Nebraska) directed movie, The Menu. The script will be written by Will Tracy (Last Week Tonight With John Oliver) and Seth Reiss (Late Night With Seth Meyers), and Deadline reports the movie will follow:

“an eccentric culinary event that is planned for an exclusive island and becomes the hot ticket to die for. I’ve heard it referred to as a Tarantino-esque take on The One-Percent. Fiennes plays the world-class chef who sets it all up and adds some unexpected ingredients to the menu planned. The action follows one particular A-list couple that takes part. I’ve heard Stone will play half of that couple.”

The cast so far paired with the director and writers and synopsis sound like a recipe for a fantastically fun film!
