Emperor Zarkon Sings HAMILTON
Hamilton has probably been the biggest musical in my life. Combine it with Voltron, and that’s an interesting combination. Recently, the voice of Emperor Zarkon from Voltron: Legendary Defender, Neil Kaplan, uploaded an audio-only video to YouTube.
The video was of Zarkon singing “You’ll Be Back” from Hamilton, and it’s quite funny. Not only is the notion of Zarkon singing hilarious, but the song itself is sung by King George III explaining to America that it shouldn’t become its own independent country, but rather stay under the British Empire.
This was an entertaining moment to be sure. Maybe they should do a filler episode in the final season and bring Zarkon back for a musical extravaganza.
