Enjoy a First Look at the BOOK OF SLAUGHTER #1 Special One-Shot
Fans of the comics Something is Killing the Children and House of Slaughter were given a treat recently with a first look at Book of Slaughter #1. This is a one-shot special set in the same world and will serve as a precursor for upcoming stories in the other series. Book of Slaughter is created by James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Edera with art by Letizia Cadonici, colors by Miquel Muerto and Francesco Segala, and letters by AndWorld Design. I haven’t been able to keep up with the series, but I remember it being very intense and leaning very much into horror and supernatural vibes with interesting characters.
From the sidelines to the spotlight, the White Mask Maxine Slaughter features in this new special issue that ties together threads from both Slaughterverse series… but will her loyalties remain where they have always been, or will she show her true colors?
In addition to being a precursor to upcoming chapters of both Something is Killing the Children and House of Slaughter, this special issue features a sizable guidebook that delves into the deep lore of the Order of St. George!
You can read Book of Slaughter #1 on December 28 at your local comic shop or favorite outlet. The main cover features art by Dell’Edera and Dan Mora with variants available with art by Stephanie Hans, Francis Manapul, and Dylan Todd.
