Enjoy Another Great Promo Spot for SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE With Some New Footage
Sony Pictures has released another promo spot for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse today. It features some more new footage from the film of all of these multiple versions of Spider-Man that come from multiple universes teaming up and working together to save New York City from an onslaught of villains.
I’m very excited, very happy, and very pleased with what I’ve seen from this movie so far, and I can’t wait to see it on the big screen!
Here’s the synopsis:
Enter a universe where more than one wears the mask. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the creative minds behind “The Lego Movie” and “21 Jump Street,” bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
We also now know three of the villains that Spider-Man will face off against in the movie. Those villains are three awesomely stylized versions of the Ultimate version of Green Goblin, The Kingpin, and The Prowler, who, in the comics, is Miles Morales' uncle.
Peter Parker is voiced by New Girl star Jake Johnson; Shameik Moore (Dope, The Get Down) is playing Miles Morales; Nicolas Cage is Spider-Man Noir, Liev Schreiber is playing the larger-than-life crime lord Kingpin; Hailee Steinfeld will play spunky, free-spirited Spider-Gwen; Mahershala Ali will provide the voice for Miles’ uncle Aaron; Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry will voice Miles’ father, Jefferson. Rounding out the cast is Luna Lauren Velez as Miles’ mother Rio, and Lily Tomlin will be Aunt May.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse arrives in theaters on December 14th, 2018.
