We finally have our first trailer for Teen Titans GO! vs. Teen Titans. It has some laughs that one would expect, and it introduces the story a bit. The TTG! Titans are brought into an arena to fight their 2003 counterparts (the ones that most people I know prefer), but then they must work together to fight evil.
“In Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans, the comedic modern-day quintet takes on their 2003 counterparts when villains from each of their worlds join forces to pit the two Titan teams against each other. They’ll need to set aside their differences and work together to combat Trigon, Hexagon, Santa Claus (that’s right, Santa!) and time itself in order to save the universe. ”
I know that many fans including myself wish they would just bring back the 2003 cartoon, but at least we’re getting something. Maybe this will spin-off and bring those Titans back. We could keep both shows and everyone wins. Sounds like a win-win to me. Oh, one final note, apparently Weird Al Yankovic will be voicing Darkseid according to the video description.
Teen Titans GO! vs. Teen Titans does not have a release date but it will be available on Digital and Blu-ray this year.
