Here’s an amusing behind-the-scenes 1990 documentary that was released for director Robert Zemeckis and producer Steven Spielberg’s Back to the Future trilogy. The doc is titled The Secrets of the Back to the Future Trilogy and it was written and directed by Peyton Reed. This is how Reed got his start and he went on to direct the Ant-Man films for Marvel Studios. You gotta start somewhere!
The doc was also hosted by Kirk Cameron and it offers a ton of cool footage of what went into making the film. It also includes interviews with the cast and crew including Michael J. Fox, Tom Wilson, Christopher Lloyd, and more. It also shows off some deleted scenes from the film that you may have never seen before.
