Epic Final Trailer For Netflix's Series Adaptation of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE
Netflix has released a beautiful and sprawling final trailer for their series remake of Little House On the Prairie, based on the memoirs by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
The show stars Alice Halsey as Laura Ingalls, Luke Bracey as Charles Ingalls, Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline, Skywalker Hughes as Mary, Jocko Sims as Dr. George Tann, Warren Christie as John Edwards, Wren Zhawenim Gotts as Good Eagle, Meegwun Fairbrother as Mitchell, and Alyssa Wapanatahk as White Sun.
The series is developed and showrun by writer Rebecca Sonnenshine (The Boys, The Vampire Diaries, The Housemaid), with episodes directed by Kat Candler, Sydney Freeland, Julie Anne Robinson, Sarah Adina Smith, and Erica Tremblay.
The synopsis reads: “Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House series of books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who originally shaped the American frontier.
“The first season is inspired by Little House on the Prairie, which is actually the third book in the series... The characters talk about their life before they came to the prairie — we might meet a few characters from their past.”
This looks like a gorgeous and epic take on the classic novels and show many of us grew up on. Check out the trailer below, and watch Little House On the Prairie on Netflix on July 9th.
