Epic Fantasy Collides with Reality in Cool Trailer for OMNISCIENT READER: THE PROPHECY
Blue Fox Entertainment has dropped the official US trailer for Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy, an epic Korean fantasy action film that blurs the line between fiction and reality. It looks like a really cool movie!
Directed by Kim Byung-woo (The Terror Live, Take Point), the movie is adapted from the hit 2019 web novel by the Korean author duo known as “singNsong.”
The story follows Kim Dok-ja, played by Ahn Hyo-seop, an ordinary guy who happens to be the only devoted reader of a little-known web novel titled Ways to Survive the Apocalypse.
After ten years of reading it, the story finally ends, and he hates it. Furious, Kim sends an angry letter to the author, calling it “the worst novel ever.” But moments later, the impossible happens.
The apocalyptic world from the novel suddenly becomes real, and its all-powerful hero Yu Jung-hyeok, played by Lee Min-ho, steps out of the pages and into Kim’s life.
Now, as the only person who knows how the story ends, Kim must navigate a dangerous world filled with monsters, chaos, and cosmic forces. Teaming up with Jung-hyeok and a group of survivors, Kim tries to rewrite destiny itself and give the story a new ending.
Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy combines the energy of a big adventure with the emotional weight of a survival story. The trailer teases massive battle sequences and dark fantasy visuals. It’s a wild, reality-bending ride packed with action, drama, and a touch of meta storytelling that fantasy fans might enjoy.
Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy will debut direct-to-VOD in the US starting November 4th, 2025, courtesy of Capelight and Blue Fox Entertainment.
