A new Elden Ring DLC story trailer has been released for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and this recounts the epic and grim lore behind the story that the DLC was created around.
The trailer came with the following details: “In the Land of Shadow, a place obscured by the Erdtree, Empyrean Miquella awaits the return of his promised Lord.

The three-minute trailer chronicles the historic war waged by the villainous Messmer, as well as the response from Miquella, a central character in the DLC who was mostly just a background character in the main Elden Ring game.
