Epic THE WALKING DEAD Season 10 Comic-Con Trailer, Premiere Date, Danai Gurira Confirms Departure, and More
We are here at the San Diego Comic-Con panel of The Walking Dead, and we just got to see the most amazing trailer for the upcoming tenth season. It looks like a new show. There is so much new scenery, the characters have a different look and feel, and the fight is coming to a crazy, intense boiling point.
We also got some new info from executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, and that’s the two new cast members joining the series! They are Kevin Carroll (The Leftovers, Snowfall) and Thora Birch (Ghost World, American Beauty). Birch will be playing a fierce follower of Alpha, named Gamma. DUDE! The kiss between Michonne (Danai Gurira) and King Ezekiel (Khary Payton)!!! Michonne has Lucille! Judith (Cailey Fleming) is killing it! Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is out and about! Carol (Melissa McBride) is back on her own, and BFF Daryl (Norman Reedus) is back by her side! I am extremely excited about this season. I haven’t hated a villain on the show this much in a very long time. I know Negan was an awful jerk, but he is so hot, I always forgave him more quickly than I should. So I am really excited to hopefully get rid of Alpha (Samantha Morgan) this season.
I am super sad that Danai Gurira confirmed that this will be her last season, as Michonne is such a pivotal and beloved leading character, but I guess that’s the name of the game.
