Ernie Hudson is Set to Co-Star in NBC's BAD BOYS Spinoff Series
Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters, Grace & Frankie) is set to co-star opposite Gabrielle Union in NBC’s upcoming Bad Boys spinoff series. I like Ernie Hudson and it's great to see him land another good gig!
The project centers on Special Agent Syd Burnett, who is a character that Union played in 2003’s Bad Boys II. In the series, she moves from Miami to Los Angeles for a fresh new start with the LAPD.
Free-spirited former DEA agent Burnett has a fresh start in her new job as an LAPD detective. She’s partnered with Nancy McKenna, a working mom who can’t help but look at Syd’s freedom with some grass-is-greener envy. These two have totally different lifestyles and approaches, but they both are at the top of their fields in this action-packed, character-driven procedural.
Ernie Hudson will play Joseph Burnett, Union’s father in the series, which is being produced by Bad Boys producer Jerry Bruckheimer. I've enjoyed the Bad Boys film franchise and I hope this series will end up being just as action-packed and entertaining.
