Ethan Embry and Ji Jun Li Set To Star in a Psychological Horror-Mystery Film ALMA AND THE WOLF

Ethan Embry (Can’t Hardley Wait) and Li Jun Li (Babylon) are set to star in a psychological horror-mystery film titled Alma and the Wolf.

The story is set on the wild Oregon coast, Embry plays Ren Accord, “a troubled police officer who must pull himself together when, while investigating a mysterious wolf attack, his estranged son goes missing.”

The film comes from director Michael Patrick Jann (Drop Dead Gorgeous) and writer Abigail Miller. The rest of the cast includes Jeremie Harris (Legion), Lukas Jann (Organ Trail), Kevin Allison (The State), Mather Zickel (Organ Trail), Beth Malone (Fun Home), Alexandra Doke (City on Fire), and Dana Millican (Soft & Quiet).

I’ve always enjoyed Ethan Embry’s work and it’s good to see him continue to land film and TV projects. I’ve always thought that he should be doing more and bigger things, though. He’s previously appeared on Sneaky Pete and Once Upon a Time, and some of his feature credits include First Man, Blindspotting, Cheap Thrills, Sweet Home Alabama, That Thing You Do! and Empire Records.

As for Li, she also appeared in Ricki and the Flash, Based on a True Story, Sex/Life, Evil, The Exorcist, Quantico, Damages, and more.

This new film should be a great project for the two actors! It seems like it will tell an interesting story. The movie is currently shooting in Oregon.
