Eva Mendes Shares Fan Video From Her Film With Ryan Gosling That Seems to Endorse His New Role as Marvel's GHOST RIDER
Possibly the biggest news out of Comic-Con this past weekend was the reveal that Ryan Gosling has been hired on as the MCU’s Ghost Rider. The film is set to hit theaters in 2028, with Shawn Levy directing the film.
Levy previously directed Deadpool & Wolverine and also worked with Gosling on the upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter, making this another major collaboration between the actor and director.
Fans had been hoping to hear this move from Marvel for years, and once the announcement was made, the crowd erupted into cheers. Once the internet got ahold of the news, fans went wild, and one video was shared by a fan who cut together a scene from Gosling’s film The Place Beyond the Pines.
In the clip, the actor’s character Luke is walking through a carnival and climbs on his motorcycle before boarding the death-defying stunt cage, the Globe of Death. The creator added Kavinsky’s song “Nightcall” to the clip, and added the Ghost Rider Marvel logo to the beginning.
Gosling’s wife, Eva Mendes, who he starred in The Place Beyond the Pines with, then shared the clip to her own Instagram, which you can check out below. It looks like she approves of the casting move, and agrees that this is comparable to the style in which Gosling will play the Marvel character.
Check out the video below, and get ready for a steady stream of news surrounding Gosling’s take on Ghost Rider.
