Evan Peters is Upset Marvel Studios Killed Off Their Quicksilver

I'm not sure where everyone else stands on the matter, but I thought Evan Peters' Quicksilver blew Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Quicksilver out of the water. We still don't know exactly how Peters feels about how the two measure up, but Yahoo says the actor is upset that Taylor-Johnson's version of Quicksilver was killed off:

"I was devastated by it. I really wanted that to keep going. I thought it was cool. I don’t really know why they killed him off...I liked what they did with it. It was different. It was a completely different take on it. He had the Russian accent. I mean, they had this swoopy thing with the lines behind, which I thought was really cool, and I don’t know. I thought it was a cool character."

I don't think Marvel Studios' Quicksilver was terrible, but Marvel did a less than adequate job establishing his short-lived character with the audience. Frankly, I didn't care too much when he was killed off. Am I alone on that? Would you have liked to see Aaron Taylor-Johnson continue playing the role?
