Eve Must Move on in Preview for EVE #3
Eve has proven to be an interesting post-apocalyptic comic miniseries from writer Victor LaValle, artist Jo Mi-Gyeong, colorist Brittany Peer, and letterer AndWorld Design. The five-part series is meant to help show a world that did nothing to address climate change and now it’s up to a girl and her teddy bear to set things right. BOOM! Studios recently released a first look at Eve #3, and it looks like it’s going to be a big one. Eve is helped by a settlement, but must quickly move on to complete her mission.
Who can you trust when you’ve always been alone? Eve finally reaches dry land, but soon discovers she has company. When she encounters a mysterious group of children, she will have to grapple with the fact that not everything Wexler has told her is true. And if that’s the case, what else about her reality is a lie?
You can read Eve #3 on July 14 with a main cover by Ario Anindito and Pierluigi Casolino and variants from Dani Pendergast and Jahnoy Lindsay. Physical copies will be available at local comic shops and digital copies will be available through comiXology (affiliate link), Google Play, iBooks, and Kindle.
