Thrilling New Trailer For DC's CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS Features The Death of Superman

The CW has released a great new trailer for DC’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event series ahead of the premiere. This trailer is loaded with exciting new footage! Some of that footage includes Kevin Conroy’s Kingdom Come Batman, Brandon Routh’s Kingdom Come Superman, and a scene that features the death of Superman.

The shot of Superman’s death features Elizabeth Tulloch's Lois Lane mourning the loss of Superman and the visual is a direct callback to Superman #75, "The Death of Superman," by Dan Jurgens and Brett Breeding. Oh, and Wil Wheaton also shows up in the trailer.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is based on Marv Wolfman and George Pérez’s 12-issue limited comic series and the 5-episode crossover follows the heroic characters from Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman, as they team up to fight and protect the multiverse from the villainous Anti-Monitor.

Crisis on Infinite Earths begins with Supergirl this Sunday on December 8th, followed by Batwoman on December 9th, The Flash on December 10th and concludes with an Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow double header on January 14th, 2020.
