Exciting New Trailer For Marvel's CLOAK & DAGGER - "We'll Show These Assholes a Divine Pairing"
I don't care what anyone says, Marvel's upcoming Cloak & Dagger series looks like it will be a great show! In another effort to help sell audiences on the show, Freeform has released a new trailer and it might just be the best one yet. It offers some fantastic new footage and we get to see two main characters see some action as they team up with each other to stop the evil heading that is terrorizing New Orleans. I like these two characters. They have a great dynamic and so far I like what I've seen on how they are being portrayed in this series.
Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart, but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.
Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger stars Olivia Holt (I Didn’t Do It), Aubrey Joseph (Run All Night), Andrea Roth (Rescue Me, Blue Bloods), Gloria Reuben(ER, Mr. Robot), Miles Mussenden (Bloodline, Queen Sugar), Carl Lundstedt(Grey’s Anatomy, Conviction) James Saito (Life of Pi, The Devil’s Advocate), and J.D. Evermore (True Detective, The Walking Dead).
Joe Pokaski (Underground, Heroes) serves as showrunner and executive producer; Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s The Punisher, Marvel’s The Defenders), Marvel’s head of Television, and Jim Chory (Marvel’s The Punisher, Marvel’s The Defenders) also serve as executive producers.
The series will premiere on Thursday, June 7th.
