Conviction is an original live-action short film, and it’s set decades before the beginning of the game. The short film will bring the world of Anthem to life and it looks beautiful. Here’s a brief synopsis of the game:
Upon an unfinished world, humanity struggles to survive in a savage environment full of diverse threats. Equipped with incredible Javelin exosuits, a faction known as the Freelancers seeks to tip the balance in mankind’s favor.
Blomkamp had this to say in a statement:
“I was really blown away by this incredible world BioWare created the very first time I saw Anthem. Conviction sets the stage with a narrative that touches on Anthem’s beautiful and immersive world, which is ripe for exploration by these powerful Javelins. A world where danger is lurking on every ledge and in each valley.”
