Exciting Trailer for Netflix Series RAISING DION From Executive Producer Michael B. Jordan

We’ve got a pretty awesome looking trailer for you to check out for the Netflix series Raising Dion, which is based on the 2015 comic of the same name created by Dennis Liu. The creator of the comic made a short film based on the story in 2016, and this piqued the interest of actor Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Black Panther), who bought the rights and worked with the creator and Netflix to make this full series. Jordan is executive producer on the series and also plays the role of Dion’s father, who is not in the picture under suspicious circumstances.

The story follows a young boy, played by Ja’Siah Young, who is being raised by his single mother (Alisha Wainwright), with the help of her friend (Jason Ritter). It seems they are both struggling in the absence of his father, and things become even more complicated when they discover he has super powers.

A young boy struggling to control his newfound powers. A single mom fighting the odds to keep her son safe. Secrets, conspiracies, mysteries, all dangerously swarming around one family...

The series looks incredibly exciting to me, and like maybe something my kids might dig too. The ten-episode series is set to begin on Friday, October 4th on Netflix. Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think.
