Exciting Teaser Trailer For STAR TREK: DISCOVERY Season 3
CBS All Access has dropped the first teaser trailer today for Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 at NYCC and it looks like the story is going to go in an interesting and exciting direction. Here’s the synopsis that was released:
After making the jump in the second season finale, season three of Star Trek: Discovery finds the U.S.S. Discovery crew dropping out of the wormhole and into an unknown future far from the home they once knew. Now living in a time filled with uncertainty, the U.S.S. Discovery crew, along with the help of some new friends, must together fight to regain a hopeful future.
It was previously revealed by producer Alex Kurtzman that Season 3 “will take place 1,000 years in the future” after the end of Season 2. He also explained that this is “the furthest that any Star Trek series has gone before” and that “there will be things you recognize and don’t recognize.”
