Expect to See Celsius, Beard Hunter, and More on DOOM PATROL

Some DC fans are excited for the premiere of Doom Patrol at the end of the week and to see Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl, Crazy Jane, Cyborg, and The Chief get their own show. However, we’ve learned that some other Doom Patrol characters will be making their way into the show. In a recent interview with /Film, Jeremy Carver explained that viewers can look forward to seeing Beard Hunter, Celsius, Danny the Street, and Lodestone on their screens.

“I think the show is dipping into different versions of the Doom Patrol over the years. We touch on and take a great jumping off point is the Grant Morrison run in the ‘90s. We dip into the silver age where we are seeing the Celsius and Loadstone characters. We’re going to see some other characters that have graced over the years such as Danny the Street. We’re going to see one of my more beloved characters the Beard Hunter.”

The same article points to Warner Bros. and DC putting a lot of money behind this project with the author saying, “I can tell you it looks like Zack Snyder’s DC movies” after watching the first two episodes. That’s some big talk, and I know other fans will be holding him to that word.

Doom Patrol is set to premiere on February 15, 2019, on DC Universe.
