Thay is a part of the Forgotten Realms and is home ot the Red Wizards. Unfortunately, Thay has not been explored yet in Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition. Well, R P Davis wasn’t having it anymore so he decided to create Red Wizard Handbook to serve as a player’s guide to Thay. Inside you’ll find 2 new character backgrounds, 4 new subclasses (1 for wizards, 2 for rogues, and 1 for fighters), dozens of magical items and spells, a brief history of Thay and much, much more. One aspect of the new Red Wizard subclass that I think is awesome is Tattoo Magic which let you have extra prepared spells! I just think it’s really cool thematically. Also, there are a lot of great little references in the Handbook such as the class feature for the Thayan Gladiator called Eye of the Tiger.
