Exclusive: Explore True Crimes of the Past with CRIMES OF THE CENTURIES Podcast

Amber Hunt is an award-winning investigative reporter and author and she’s teamed up with Obsessed Network to bring true crime fans a new podcast of historical crimes called Crimes of the Centuries. This new podcast will delve into crimes that were huge at the time, but quickly faded into obscurity like the cases of Mary Phagan or Nannie Doss. The series is currently slated to have 42 episodes with the first one launching on October 26 and new episodes every Monday.

“Crimes of the Centuries” will do a deep-dive investigation into little-known but significant crimes committed across multiple centuries. Each episode will introduce listeners to a different crime that may have flown under the radar, uncover never-heard-before details, and explore the historical significance of these incidents.

Here’s a list of some of the cases that will be explored:

  • Mary Phagan - The brutal slaying of a 13-year-old worker found dead in the cellar of an Atlanta factory.

  • Nannie Doss - Referred to as “The Giggling Granny”, a female serial killer responsible for the deaths of 11 people.

  • Pearl Bryan - a 22-year-old pregnant American woman who was found decapitated.

  • Robert Berdella - a serial killer, known as “The Kansas City Butcher” who murdered at least six men.

  • Nathan Leopold Richard Loeb - Two wealthy students at the University of Chicago who kidnapped and a murdered 14-year-old boy.

You’ll be able to listen to Crimes of the Centuries on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher. You can also learn more on the official website.
