Extended Clip From A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS Shows Some of the Past

Season 2 of Netflix’s adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events book series will be released this weekend and I’m excited. The first season covered the first four books of the series and was a lot of fun to watch. The second season looks like it will be just as fun and will have more star power including Nathan Fillion show up. We have a new extended clip from the new season that looks great. It features a note being passed around by members of VFD that says “Olaf Knows” before it is received and read by its recipient, Lemony Snicket (played by Patrick Warburton), who then runs out looking for a woman named Beatrice. The clip is equal parts fun with its jazz music and the party setting and intense as you try to figure out who the note is intended for. I am so stoked for the new season which is expected to cover books five through nine with the third season wrapping up with books ten through thirteen.

This series follows the tragic tale of three orphans — Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire — who are investigating their parents’ mysterious death. The siblings are saddled with an evil guardian named Count Olaf (portrayed by award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris), who will do whatever it takes to get his hands on the Baudelaire’s inheritance. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling devious plans and disguises. The series is based on the best-selling series of books by Lemony Snickey (aka Daniel Handler).

Season two will launch on Netflix on March 30, 2018.

Visit the VFD headquarters and party with the Volunteers: Jacques and Lemony Snicket (Nathan Fillion & Patrick Warburton), Uncle Monty (Aasif Mandvi), Aunt Josephine (Alfre Woodard), Jacquelyn (Sara Canning), Dr Orwell (Catherine O' Hara)... and a Villainous, Frightening and Disagreeable guest, a word which here means Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris).
