Face Off Against Classic Monsters with HORRIFIED: UNIVERSAL MONSTERS

Universal Studios has teamed up with the game publisher Ravensburger to create Horrified: Universal Monsters. This is an upcoming cooperative board game that will allow players to team up and fend off classic monsters including Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Mummy, and more as they try to attack your village. I’m not sure how the gameplay will be quite yet, but I’m always down for a new cooperative game.

Horrified will support up to 5 players and features 7 miniatures, one for each of the monsters that you can face. Time to pull out the paint! Based on the images I’ve seen, it does make me a little sad that it looks like the heroes don’t get minis, but rather generic standees. I’m still excited to face off against these classic monsters though. Horrified will be available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, and more on August 1 with an MSRP of $34.99.
