Fox has decided to keep a couple of its tentpole animated shows around a little longer. Family Guy has been renewed for Seasons 19 and 20, and Bob’s Burgers has been renewed for Seasons 12 and 13!

Last year, The Simpsons was picked up for an unprecedented 31st and 32nd seasons, and talks are currently underway on a major Simpsons renewal as well.

This is super exciting for fans of these shows. While I don’t watch Family Guy as religiously as I used to, I still watch it every now and then. As for Bob’s Burgers and The Simpsons, those are shows that I make an effort to keep up on. They’re all great and entertaining shows, though!

Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, Fox Entertainment said in a statement:

Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers are key pillars of our network’s success. By taking the genre to new heights and driving pop culture in meaningful ways, they’ve laid the foundation for making Animation Domination one of the most powerful program blocks in all of television. Both of these two-season renewals affirm once again our commitment to animation and empower us to continue in our build as the leader in the space with distinct and fresh new comedies. We’d like to thank Seth, Loren and their entire teams, not to mention our partners at 20th Television, and we’re excited to continue these great shows with them.”

Since animation production has been able to continue without a significant impact by the pandemic, Fox’s Animation Domination block will launch this Sunday, September 27th, with new seasons of Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, The Simpsons, and Bless the Harts.

Thorn went on to make it very clear that the Fox network is not going to say goodbye to these animated shows anytime soon.
